Doncamatic, testo dei Gorillaz con Daley

La band più all’avanguardia di tutti i tempi aveva fatto le presentazioni ufficiali in Twitter, ma ora il singolo Doncamatic, annunciato lo scorso settembre, è finalmente in rotazione radiofonica, pubblicato da pochissimi giorni. Doncamatic (All Played Out) è uscito negli Stati Uniti il 22 novembre ed è il quinto singolo estratto dal nuovo album dei Gorillaz Plastic Beach, attualmente disponibile in streaming gratuito sul sito della band. Doncamatic è il nuovo singolo dei Gorillaz: in streaming come l’intero album Plastic Beach, disponibile gratuitamente in rete, ancora una volta la band si dimostra interessata ai suoni provenienti dall’elettronica e il consumo di una musica che su internet trova nuove strade.

Doncamatic costituisce il quinto singolo estratto dal nuovo album dei Gorillaz, Plastic Beach: realizzato in collaborazione con l’artista dell’elettronica britannica Daley, il titolo ricorda uno dei primi campionatori di percussioni realizzati in Giappone dalla Kong e sembra già preannunciarsi tra i successi più incandescenti della stagione.

La collaborazione con Daley è stata fortemente desiderata da Damon Albarn e colleghi: un risultato decisamente inebriante a livello musicale.
