Duran Duran: Girl Panic, testo del nuovo singolo

Girl Panic, è questo il titolo del secondo singolo dei Duran Duran estratto da All you need is now, l’album pubblicato a dicembre 2010. Scritto da Mark Ronson, il brano è l’emblema della rinascita della band britannica. Il ritorno alle sonorità di 30 anni fa è ancora più marcato rispetto al primo singolo.
Il favoloso pop e l’inconfondibile voce di Simon Le Bon hanno reso i Duran Duran una delle band più celebri della musica anni ’80. Il gruppo ha venduto oltre 100 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo. All you need is now ha avuto un successo straordinario, balzando in vetta alle classfiche di mezzo mondo nel giro di pochissimo tempo. Ma d’altronde c’era da aspettarselo, per il disco il gruppo ha fatto le cose in grande, a partire dal produttore Mark Ronson, l’uomo che ha trasformato Amy Winehouse in un fenomeno mondiale.

A marzo scorso la band ha tenuto un concerto gratuito in streaming su Youtube. A febbraio scorso, invece, il Sindaco di Milano Letizia Moratti aveva premiato i Duran Duran per la loro carriera trentennale, consegnandogli una pergamena celebrativa.
