Jamiroquai: Blue Skies, testo del secondo singolo da Rock Dust Light Star

Dopo il successo di White Knuckle Ride, i Jamiroquai tornano in radio con un nuovo singolo. Il pezzo si intitola Blue Skies, ed è il secondo estratto da Rock Dust Light Star, il settimo album del gruppo, che in Italia ha debuttato alla posizione numero tre della classifica ufficiale. Blue Skies è un brano magico e di grande atmosfera, del quale di seguito trovate il testo e un contributo per l’ascolto. Volevo un disco low-fi è questo è il risultato, ha detto Jason Kay.

Eppure, nonostante la fama e il successo, Kay confessa che a 40 anni non è felice della sua vita da rockstar. Sono stanco e arrabbiato, sono umano, ammette il leader dei Jamiroquai. Passo dal Brasile all’Argentina e nel frattempo - dice - mi devo occupare di ogni singolo dettaglio. Oggi sono qui, domani là, di sera mi esibisco di fronte a migliaia di persone e poi torno a casa con le valigie da disfare, e tutto mi sembra strano.
