Misery parla della disperazione di volere una persona così fortemente ma riuscire ad averla è molto difficile – ha detto Adam Levini, frontman del gruppo, ai microfoni di Mtv – diciamo che il tema è simile a quello di cui scrivo solitamente. Non sto camminando su un nuovo terreno, ma penso che molte persone, incluso me stesso, hanno sempre a che fare con queste cose. Le relazioni sono complicate e scriverne a riguardo è un’ottima terapia.

Una mid tempo, molto orecchiabile, una canzone che potrebbe diventare l’ennesima hit della band. Il singolo avrà anche un videoclip, che pare sia già stato realizzato sotto la direzione di Joseph Khan.
