Massive Attack: Saturday Come Slow, nuovo video con Damon Albarn

I Massive Attack pubblicano il nuovo video Saturday Come Slow, realizzato in collaborazione con Damon Albarn.

Nel nuovo video dei Massive Attack e Damon Albarn Saturday Come Slow, quasi un cortometraggio, viene mostrato l’uso della musica ad altissimo volume come strumento di tortura nelle carceri.

La canzone diventa del tutto secondaria rispetto al video, che prima di tutto sembra la testimonianza del prigioniero.

Il video, che ha debuttato su Feeder venerdì scorso, è stato girato all’interno della camera anecoica dell’Università di Cambridge per creare un silenzio totale. Protagonista è l’ex detenuto di Guantanamo Bay, Ruhal Ahmed, ed è una riflessione sulle esperienze Ahmed, mentre era in stato di detenzione, in particolare su come veniva interrogato mentre gli altoparlanti diffondevano musica ad altissimo volume.
