Dopo un periodo di assenza dalle scene musicali e dopo il suo coming out, Ricky Martin è tornato con un nuovo singolo The Best Thing About me is You. Il brano, cantato in duetto con la cantante soul Joss Stone, anticipa il nuovo album atteso per i primi mesi del 2011. La canzone è stata presentata dalla coppia, in anteprima, al programma condotto da Opray Winfrey. Durante quest’occasione l’artista portoricano si è lasciato andare ad una lunga intervista.

E’ alla regina della tv americana che ha raccontato di vivere un momento davvero felice. Dopo il coming out sono scoppiato a piangere come un bambino, ha rivelato Martin. Lacrime di paura, disperazione, ansia? Nulla di tutto ciò, il cantante ha pianto perchè finalmente si è tolto un peso. Ora mi sento libero di amare, finalmente posso dire di amarmi completamente, ha spiegato.
